OUR NON-NEGOTIABLES
Content Attribution
All content produced by itsbymdc is created for the clientβs use and aligned with the clientβs brand, objectives, and messaging. However, itsbymdc retains the right to receive credit for all publicly shared content.
Clients must include acknowledgment of itsbymdc whenever content is displayed publicly (e.g., captions, tags, or credits).
itsbymdc may showcase the work in portfolios, case studies, or social media for promotional purposes unless explicitly restricted in writing.
This ensures recognition of creative authorship while allowing clients full access to utilize the content for their intended purposes.
Payment & βWatermarked Deliveryβ
For projects involving multiple deliverables (e.g., photo sets, video series, campaigns):
A 50% deposit is required to commence work.
Initial content will be delivered with watermarks to allow for review, feedback, and preliminary approval.
Following feedback and any requested refinements, the final deliverables will be delivered in full quality once the remaining balance is received.
This system ensures transparency, maintains quality assurance, and provides a fair process for both parties.
Communication
Effective and timely communication is essential for project success. Clients are expected to respond to messages, emails, or calls within the agreed timeframes to facilitate project progress.
Feedback, approvals, and clarifications must occur in line with the project schedule.
Revision requests are not capped, provided they are within the agreed timeline, ensuring iterative improvements are completed efficiently.
Maintaining clear communication ensures expectations are met and projects are delivered on time with the desired quality.
Development Hub (Studios)
All project files, updates, proposals, estimates, and ongoing work are maintained in a secure central Development Hub aka. βDev. Hubβ. Each client has individually numbered studios (e.g., βSTUDIO TWOβ), rather than project names, to protect sensitive information.
The Development Hub serves as the primary platform for sharing progress, reviewing deliverables, and storing finalized content.
Alternative platforms (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox, USB) may be used only if mutually agreed in writing.
Centralized access ensures organizational clarity, protects client confidentiality, and provides a reliable record of project progression.
Client Guideline
All work is developed in accordance with itsbymdcβs creative principles, aligned with the motto: βcarrying memories, stories, and meaning beyond the frame.β
itsbymdc also ensures that to officially align with the motto set since the very start, it must also accommodate the vision of: βAlways for the client, always for them, always done by itsbymdc.β
Clients may specify objectives, expectations, or outcomes, but the creative process remains under itsbymdcβs direction to maintain professional quality, consistency, and storytelling integrity.
Collaborative input is valued, but client influence on creative methodology is limited to guidance rather than directive control.
This ensures the resulting work achieves client goals while preserving the craft, vision, and narrative of itsbymdc.
